Truman was feeling a bit jealous of Biscuit, since he heard Kennedy say Biscuit was a much better dog than him. Finally, the girls ended the evening on their new roller blades. Yes, even McKinley. (Notice her lovely makeup that looks like a black eye - it's not from a roller blading incident. Only her sisters careful attention to detail around the eyes. )

...More Christmas...
Here the girls are enjoying their gifts. Some of the favorites: Reagan's make up, McKinley's computer, and Kennedy's Biscuit Dog. Reagan opted to "doll" everyone up. Let me tell you, we had some beauties at our house. At one point, McKinley looked like she had a black eye. We had some good laughs.
Here we are Christmas morning. The girls were very excited. They enjoyed all their gifts. McKinley got a "big-girl bed" that she was thrilled about. She opened most of her gifts while sitting on it. They all got an easel. Kennedy immediately wrote a thank you note to Mom and Dad on it. It was very sweet. Truman even joined in and enjoyed his gifts also.
...More Christmas Eve....
Here's the girls opening their jammies. Kennedy's top said, "I heart snow days.". Reagan's said, "OH Deer" (and had a reindeer on it). McKinley's said, "Elf in training". Pardon the picture of Reagan. I forgot to flip it, and I didn't want to download the pics again. So just cock your head to the side. We have enjoyed having my parents (Carol) with us this Christmas. I think they have been amazed by all the snow. (Pictures of that later)
Christmas Eve Festivities
On Chrismas Eve we headed out to the Christmas Eve service at our church. Another great time focusing on the best gift ever, our Saviour, Jesus. Then we came home, sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and ate some cake. The cake was my bribe for getting good smiles. Isn't that terrible? Then we allowed everyone to open one gift....new jammies!!! Since we stay in our jammies all day long on Christmas, it's fun to have new ones to be festive in.
Baking a cake for Jesus!!
We have a tradition of making Jesus a birthday cake on Christmas Eve. I told them what to do and they went for it. As you can see, even McKinley got into it.

Happy Reformation Day!!!!
Well, thanks to Martin Luther, I can say happy Reformation Day!!! The girls headed down town for a few festivities. McKinley was a mouse that refused to pose for pictures, so I had to get one of her backside. Kennedy and Reagan decided to be veterinarians. They wore masks, gloves, name tags, and carried around bandaged stuffed dogs. We have our Chinese friend, Jasmine, staying with us. She was very excited to get a costume herself. She dressed up as a cat, or leopard. I'm not really sure which one. Anyway.... we headed home and decorated some pumpkins. As you can see, the girls were a bit grossed out by pumpkin slime. McKinley was content to ride around on her tricycle, while we played in the slime. We finished up the night by playing some games...chopstick pea races, basketball toss, and even a little duck duck goose per Reagan's request.
